HAHA thinkin about old characters.

I think her name was some variation of Sept/September/Septimus but then one day I realized that like half of my characters had a variation of that name so I just started calling her the Gravedigger.

She got married to a really wealthy mortician man when she was very young and naive, and then one day the dead rose from their graves and attacked; she survived but her husband turned zombie and eventually she had to kill him.

Since then she has traveled to random towns where she estimates there is going to eventually be another undead uprising; she then sets up a life, usually starting a job that she’s never had before (she’s worked in fast food places, factory productive lines, designing sex toys, pest control, gym manager, rock climbing instructor—you name it and she has probably had a job involving it. She might not be good at all the jobs, but she does believe in hard work above all else and likes to try new things), and waits until the undead come. Then she fights them back, does what she can to keep them from coming again, and moves on to the next town or city or wherever. She’s become quite the jack-of-all-trades.

She hasn’t aged much since her husband’s death and it’s theorized that she may have come across something supernatural in her travels that has prolonged her life, if not given her immortality.

She seems to reject all advances from men and women alike in the present day.

Her preferred weapon is a shovel, but she’ll take anything she can bludgeon with.

Her skills include bludgeoning, brawling, violence in general, painting, and playing the organ.

And, yeah, that’s the Gravedigger.

I don’t know. I think they like me, and that at least sometimes they like being around me. I think if I did ask them out, that they’d honestly consider it—and if they turned me down, I would know they had their reasons.

I'd think it was pretty cute, maybe they would find it cute, too. How often do you speak with them?

I’m not sure. I know that I will only have the relationship I have with her with her. But, otherwise, I think that depends on the word soulmate and how you think of it. She fulfills me in ways that involve similarity, creativity, spirituality, intimacy (not in a sexual way), and a compatibility in a friendship so deep it gets into my bones. And, hopefully, I fulfill those same things in her.

But maybe I’ll find someone someday who fulfills me (and I, them) in ways of sexuality and intimacy, or those similar traits in different ways. A mate of a different part of my soul. Or maybe I won’t. Who’s to say?

Screw anon. I'm going to second what another person said, I have a friend-crush on you. I dunno. As for a more traditional romantic interest, there is a lot of confusion in my life about who I am possibly into. He's a bit of an ass (a lot of an ass) and he has a girlfriend, and I'm uncomfortable with anything going on past the friend level so long as he is in that relationship. He also kind of pushes too hard to hang out sometimes. Dunno at all what is going on with all that nonsense.
