[This started out as a personal sketch blog but quickly became an haha-tumblr-is-hilarious-and-everything-goes blog. I also started this thing called Character Solidifying Sunday; related to this I talk way too much about my OCs.
Feel free to drop me a question or seven in my askbox.]
gonna ask u this too. do jesse, junus, envi, garro, and septimus have a favorite food/dish/meal/etc? if so, what is it? uwu
Not going to lie, with all the fabulous foods he can make, from the elegant french dishes to exotic thai meals, Jesse’s favorite is the traditional English breakfast. He doesn’t usually eat it during breakfast, but he sure loves eggs, bacon, sausage, fried bread, mushrooms, and baked beans. He likes black teas with this, but he also keeps a secret store of orange juice in his fridge always. He likes breakfasts and dinners.
Junus doesn’t really have a, uh, refined taste in food. Basically he doesn’t like sweet things, and after that he mostly likes things that are filling and sustaining. He really likes bread and hearty soups and jerky. Dinner is his favorite meal.
Goodness, does that man like his jerky.
Envi’ere tends to just eat the space meal bars like most people in space. She likes vegetables and seafoods; basically anything that can be steamed in its own shell and eaten. So crustaceans and insects. She doesn’t really enjoy meat that doesn’t come in a shell and is on bones like ew weird. I don’t think she has a favorite meal.
Garro loves microwaveable meal and pizza and pretzels and hamburgers and cheeseburgers and chilidogs and grilled cheese sandwiches. He loves lunch because lunch is the best meal of the day and he takes after his fabulous creator who also knows that lunch is the best meal of the day and has all my favorite things to eat.
God, I love lunch.
Commodore Septimus likes breakfast and actually eats breakfast in the morning unlike some Jesse punk. She likes sweet, sugary, pretty-much-dessert-in-breakfast-disguise things, but she also really loves like any type of oatmeal. She likes plain oatmeal and she likes mixing things in with oatmeal and she likes cinnamon oatmeal. Oatmeal’s pretty awesome.
Thanks for the question, Aly!
could i also get some facts about seeeeeeptimus* and gallowglass*?
*Commodore Septimus really hopes Helmut will ask her to marry him someday, even though she’s not sure how it would work.
*Gallowglass is addicted to self surgery.
If some of your characters (Jesse, Junus and Septimus, in particular, but if you want to throw in anyone else feel free) had the means to time travel once and back to any point in the future or past (but couldn't change history or anything) where would they go and why? And if they COULD change past or future events where would they go and why?
For Jesse, he would like to go back to when he was Riord and figure out where the heck he was. He’s like 99% positive it was in some region of ancient Scotland, but isn’t completely sure, and isn’t sure where in Scotland. But he doesn’t know exactly when that happened either, so maybe that effects his ability in this context to go there.
Junus doesn’t have enough concern about past or future to travel to either. If he did, he’d probably go to the past to see what he was like before he got Testament.
And Commodore Septimus would go AS FAR AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE INTO THE FUTURE just to see if anything was super weird or different or destroyed or not. Just because.
i hope you dont mind random CSS questions but!!! LET'S TALK ABOUT DOKI DOKIS. so like, let's say garro, septimus, jesse, junus, and envi all get love confessions. it can be from someone they know, or someone they don't know, and it can be face to face or in a letter or something like that (that's all up to you). How would they respond? If these characters wanted to ~confess love~ for someone, how would they do it?
So for this question I’m going to pretend as if characters who are in relationships are not in relationships.
GARRO GETTING A CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DIDN’T KNOW; It wouldn’t matter how he got the confession, he’d say he didn’t have time for that sort of thing and if they persisted he would assume they had an ulterior motive and would do the best he could to distance himself from that person.
GARRO GETTING A CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DID KNOW; He’d react first in the same way saying he didn’t have time for that, or tell them to stop joking around. If they persisted, he might be uncomfortable but start wondering about it and may try to figure out if they’re sincere and how he feels about it.
GARRO CONFESSING LOVE TO SOMEONE would probably be in person or over the phone and it’s be awkward and stumbling and basically sum up to “hey i like you can we like have dinner sometime and talk about robots and then maybe bang each other.”
COMMODORE SEPTIMUS RECEIVING A LOVE CONFESSION from someone either she did or didn’t know would basically end up as, “Cool, so what are you going to do about it?” and then see where it ended up from there.
COMMODORE SEPTIMUS GIVING A LOVE CONFESSION would be in person (no exceptions), would be simultaneously direct and extravagant, and if she asked for a date she most likely wouldn’t take no for an answer. Or, rather, wouldn’t wait for an answer. HEY, YOU’RE PRETTY SWELL, I’M PRETTY SWELL, SO WE’RE GOING TO THIS DINNER RIGHT NOW. And then she whisks the poor individual off into the sunset. Where it went from there would depend on them.
JESSE RECEIVING A LOVE CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DIDN’T KNOW would actually probably be much calmer than from someone he did know. He’d probably ask if they were serious and if they were he might initiate some kind of one night stand or try to find out more about them to start something longer.
JESSE RECEIVING A CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DID KNOW would probably elicit blushing and stumbling over words and he’d be incredibly worried that this would mean more chances for Jesse to screw things up or that they don’t know what they’re talking about. If he were able to push those fears aside, he’d be fine with starting something from that confession.
JESSE CONFESSING LOVE- well he probably wouldn’t confess love. BUT HIM CONFESSING HE’D LIKE TO DATE OR SOMETHING would depend on the person. He writes very beautiful letters (well, that’s up to debate) and feels he can collect his thoughts better on paper than aloud, but likes the intimacy of doing it in person. He’s also flexible, he could write them poetry, probably rustily write up a song. He could orchestrate events for something more flamboyant as well. I think the only thing he’d be against is confessing over the phone or text or email. Gotta be old fashioned and mail letters at the least if he’s not going to do it face to face.
JUNUS RECEIVING LOVE CONFESSIONS FROM ANYONE, he’s kind of… oblivious in that regard. If they aren’t very direct (as in taking his face in their hands and saying something like; hey idiot i love you) it’s highly possible he just won’t get it or won’t understand. In fact there’s a chance that he still might not even if the person is direct. But yeah, for that they would have to be in person. Letters or anything not involving the person in front of his face wouldn’t get through his thick skull. If he did understand he might be like, sorry, don’t have time, gotta go save the world right now. They would have to be very persistent and a constant thing in his life for them to interest him at all.
If he was interested in someone, I don’t think he’d confess his love directly. He’d be quiet, as usual, and probably just start being around them as much as he could and buy them things and after agonizingly long
years year months, maybe, he’d produce a ring for them and hopefully they’d get the point without him having to say anything.
Envi’ere doesn’t do the love thing. Getting confessions, she’d just walk away. Giving confessions isn’t a thing that would come up.
gonna ask this question before i forget it. do septimus, jesse, garro, drytze, envi, and anyone else have their idea of a ~perfect lover?~ if so, what are they like? how would these characters react if asked about it?
Commodore Septimus, I think, would just like someone who treats her well. Which means that there could be many “perfect” lovers for her. If asked about it, she’d probably make up something about long walks on the beach and laugh and be purposefully cheesy.
For Jesse, the closest he can get to what he can considers perfect is anyone he can make happy. Course this doesn’t mean that having such a lover always works out for him. And if asked about it he might get flustered and change the subject.
Hahaha, Garro has no clue what he’d prefer in lovers, no less what he’d think was perfect. If asked he’d probably tell the asker to get the eff out of his shop unless they had something worthwhile to discuss.
And for Drytzein, the perfect lover is one who pays well. He’d tell you that straight out if he felt like answering questions.
And Envi’ere doesn’t have the idea of a perfect lover besides one that satisfies her for a night in bed. If asked, the asker would be ignored.
do garro, septimus, envi, drytze, girl, jesse, junus, and anyone else have any hidden skills? or skills that don't come up often? things like that.
Garro has like literally no skills besides his mechanic abilities and his brute force. Can’t write, can’t cook, can’t whistle, can’t even clean that well. I guess that he did pick up some pretty good navigation skills. So he can fix things and not get lost and pummel people. Good man.
Commodore Septimus can actually sew pretty well and helped in the creation of her giant button-eyed hyena. And she, UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE, can whistle.
Envi’ere is pretty good at strategy games, like chess or HAHA STARCRAFT (the idea of playing starcraft in space amuses me), even though she doesn’t play them often.
I think everyone knows this about Dryte, but I like to mention it all the same; not only is he a space hooker extraordinaire, but he is also a medic. He is very good at fixing people, and perhaps ironically, good at making them feel good about themselves. He is also working on becoming a
Girl knows about everything you can know about coffee. She’s also pretty awesome at one-handed texting, typing, and golf.
Hmmmmm, I think I talk about Jesse enough that his minor abilities are pretty well known. One of the things that doesn’t come up often is his ability to play the cello. And he swims geud. Another is that if this ever comes up he’s really good at punching things until they stop moving.
Junus, besides his amazing social skills, is able to whittle and play the instrument called the aeol. Oh, and even though he doesn’t make stories, he is pretty good at collecting them and occasionally (if somehow you get him very mellowed out) telling them.
hello phantom my love i have a question for you and that question is when it comes to romantic relationships, what would garro, jesse, septimus, envi, drytze, and junus prefer? by which i mean would they prefer to be committed to one partner, or would they enjoy being in a relationship with multiple people? (polyamory is what i mean, i am good at wording stuff) Or would they just prefer an open relationship in general? Would they be loyal to their partners (if that's what they wanted?)
I think that Garro, if he were to become concerned about romantic relationships, would like to give the impression that he was A PLAYER and would enjoy being in a relationship with many people- but honestly that would terrify him and he doesn’t know if he could handle being with one person no less several. Otherwise, he’d like just one relationship and would be generally loyal but wouldn’t want to plan it to last forever or anything.
Jesse likes different people and likes being in relationships with different people, but does not like being so at the same time. He likes being able to give his entire attention to one individual and feels he wouldn’t be able to give people the consideration they deserve in a polyamorous relationship. He’s also pretty against cheating and can be loyal to a fault.
Our dear Commodore Septimus basically goes with the flow and if she ends up in a polyamorous relationship, then she ends up in a polyamorous relationship. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t. And she’s loyal… as long as her partner’s desires coincide with her own.
Envi’ere doesn’t have anything against polyamorous relationships with the exception that there are TOO MANY PEOPLE INVOLVED AND THAT MEANS TOO MANY MOTIVES AND PURPOSES AND ULTERIOR INTENTS TO FIGURE OUT and yeah one person at a time is easier to deal with, with her paranoia. Also one night stands, not relationships. And loyalty? Heh.
She’s about as loyal to her partners as people are to their dildos.
And Dryte informs me he doesn’t do relationships. He has clients and he has sessions, but he doesn’t do relationships and isn’t planning to any time in the future.
And then there’s Junus, who I’m not sure is even aware that polyamory exists. And despite being paganistic heathen, has a pretty strict Christian-like view of relationships. You only date a girl if you’re going to marry her, no sex before marriage, and you do not leave your partner unless death separates you. (And then his second wife left him and made him question everything he thought about relationships harhar.) Anyway, single relationships and regardless of whether or not he’s very good for his partners he is very loyal.
idk if this is a thing you'd prefer for me to ask on the NSFW blog but I DEMAND YOU DESCRIBE TO ME IN BEAUTIFUL DETAIL WHAT JESSE'S, ENVI'S, GARRO'S, SEPTIMUS', DRYTZE'S, AND ANYONE ELSE'S BUTTS LOOK LIKE. O_O
Nah I think this is fine on this blog.
Jesse’s, you should know what it looks like. You and at least a hundred other people, considering it was on my first very important post that got more than fifty notes.
But anyway, Jesse has the perkiest of butts. It is a perfectly sculpted masterpiece of muscle and beauty, covered in a thin layer of puppy fat that makes it both squeezable and gropeable. It is tanned to a golden perfection and when it is graciously exposed to the world cherubic legions descend to sing glory to its smooth form. It should also be noted that although his butt is not one of his four horribly ticklish spots, he does get squirmy if it’s fondled. This is very important information to have, I know.
Envi’ere has some fine hips if you stare at her front on. Like they curve and widen out in all the right ways. However, from the side, you realize that… SHE HAS A KIND OF FLAT BUTT. Sorry, there ain’t much there. It is still a wonderful butt because all butts are wonderful, but there just isn’t much to describe.
oh my gosh i don’t think i can describe garro’s butt because i just realized that it would be covered in this blue peach fuzz and that image has like taken over anything else i might have described oh my goodness
Commodore Septimus has a bounce bounce for every ounce ounce. Her butt isn’t white or anything, but it’s pretty pale compared to the rest of her body and she ain’t missing much meat there. I bet it’s cushy to sit on a butt like that. You could probably use it as the world’s greatest pillow. Cushy and soft and gosh just want to squeeze it. It is the eighth wonder of the sea.
And then Dryte has a skinny, lean booty. Like, think of stereotypical druggie rockstar butt and that’s the kind of butt Dryte has. There’s just a thin layer of muscle and like nothing else on it. Seriously, the dude’s over six feet tall and weighs under two hundred pounds. Thin as balls. It, like the rest of him, is flawless and porcelain-esque.
hhi phantom. i searched through everything and i still can't find anything on this, which is weird because i had a really strong feeling that this has been asked before. oh well. anyways, do any of your characters believe in ghosts or supernatural beings? (either related or unrelated to any faith) and would any of them actually seek to communicate with them or summon such entities? or do things like 'ghost hunting'.
There was once an ask that involved the Grimms and Fantomes and Abstrials and Phanlockes who are all these interlocking families who have a lot to do with the paranormal, especially ghosts, but I don’t recall if there was ever a specific ask on that. And if that was the specific ask, it was like one of the first CSS questions I ever answered, so you know, it’s been awhile and I’m fine with answering again.
Quite a few of my characters have belief in ghosts and supernatural beings. Some of the most prominent are those families I mentioned above.
The Fantome family, which is just down to just Celdiere and her younger brother Arcaterxes, in particular are surrounded by the supernatural. They live in a haunted house, their uncles are vampires (one of which lives with them), there are ghosts and doppelgangers and werewolves and demons somehow involved in their property and even though they don’t always know what the supernatural things are, they’ve seen enough to believe that these things do exist and aren’t some hoax or coincidence.
Then there’s the above mentioned vampire uncles who are the last of the Abstrial line, Anon and Mercutious. They actually haven’t seen much of the paranormal happenings in the Fantome house, but being supernatural themselves has given them a belief that other supernatural things can exist as well. I should note that Mercutious is entertaining the idea that maybe what they are is caused by something scientific and not something unexplainable.
Then there’s the Phanlockes (cousins of the Fantomes), who have all died out now. There were five generations, the only before mentioned characters of this family being Obsidian and Jayce, of individuals who were involved with the supernatural. Two of which were monster hunters and three who were paranormal investigators.
And last but not least of these interwoven families is the last of the Grimms, Montague. Montague’s just a teen, currently homeless, and has the ability to see spirits and ghosts. I’m mentioning him because he is apart of this family, but I should note that he doesn’t actually believe in the supernatural and is under the assumption that he’s just crazy.
Some other characters include:
Davide, who believed in demons enough to summon Jesse at the least.
Isabeau, who not only attempted to bind Jesse to her, but also had a… knack, you could say, to find demons and to manipulate them. In her last years she became paranoid and thought that there were spirits surrounding her everywhere she went.
Saint George, who had a bad run-in with some kind of demon and now fights the supernatural for the SAFETY OF HUMANITY.
Matthias, who has the same abilities and skills as his mother. He also attempts to summon a demon for certain knowledge and he is, in fact, successful. But the situation scares (and perhaps scars) him so much that he’s wary to try it again. It should be noted that he believes in angels, demons, and ghosts- but doesn’t believe in a God.
Jesse believes that the most reasonable explanation is the most likely, but that there are often things that can’t be explained. Or might not be explained now, but will be in the future. In other words, he thinks that anything can be possible. But not that the supernatural is hiding around every corner or anything like that.
And then not related to the world that all of those above characters exist in:
Commodore Septimus believes in spirits. She thinks there’s good and bad spirits and that sometimes they walk around like people and that they have their own agendas most the time and shouldn’t be trusted.
Selidor believes in ghosts. No real reason why, he just does.
Oh, and last character of note is James/Jellybean who DOESN’T believe in ghosts or the supernatural DESPITE having the ghostly figure of Haedyn following him around in space.
Whelp that was a lot. I hope that kind of answered your question. And thanks for asking it!
kind of curious for these cuties too, i know you got an ask before about jesse's spiritual beliefs but do garro, septimus, envi, and drtyze have any?
They DO INDEED. Well, some of them do at least.
Garro doesn’t really. Whenever he tries to think about spiritual things they just kind of… I don’t know, it’s like a mix between boring him and giving him a headache. He doesn’t understand spending time thinking on something that isn’t physical, that isn’t something that he can fix or build or repair with his hands. I don’t think he adamantly believes there aren’t spirits or gods or an afterlife or what have you, he just doesn’t get why he should care whether or not there is.
Commodore Septimus has run into several things that convince her there is a spiritual world, there is an afterlife, and unlike Captain Helmut who believes in a single god, she believes that there exists the pantheon of sea gods that many on her world also believe in. She, however, doesn’t think they’ve ever done her any particular favors and doesn’t believe she should be trying to appease them or be trying to save her soul or anything like the sort. Her alliance is to living in every moment, to her ship, to her crew, and not much else.
Envi’ere is an atheist. She doesn’t like talking about that much, especially since her family believed in the secretive almost occultist cylonquin gods and often used bits of that religion to set in stone their way of life and thinking and this in particular made Envi’ere feel repressed and shunned.
Dryte, on the other hand, worships one of the secret occultish cylonquin gods. The god over death, in fact. This actually influences many of his ideas on pacifism and ssssex. By anyone else who knows of this god, Dryte’s considered pretty sacrilegious. One of the rules about worshiping these patron gods is DON’T EVEN MENTION THEM TO OTHERS, YO. Outsiders to the cults are not welcomed. Yet Dryte often takes his patron god’s name in vain. The chances of anyone recognizing what he’s saying is pretty slim, but still. There was even one occasion where he made himself a mask based on the death god’s and wore it, which is pretty offending and blasphemous. (That mask actually became the idea between Gallowglass’ mask.) Aaaand he also wields spears and halberds like the death god. Seems like he thinks he’s the next reincarnation of the death god or something.
For any characters of your choosing, how would they react to being really physically sick? Be it a long or short amount of time.
Gonna go with the characters on the CSS post again.
Jesse: I think I’ve mentioned before that if/when he’s physically sick he doesn’t deal with it particularly well. Especially if it’s by means that he didn’t cause, like when he happened to get motion sickness on that plane ride. He ends up apologizing profusely to anyone who might be with them and saying that he’s so sorry this sort of thing doesn’t happen often I swear until the point where he just curls up in a ball and hopes that it passes. If anyone’s with him he probably gives them the most pathetic eyes that unintentionally seem to say PLEASE MAKE THIS GO AWAY, I DON’T LIKE IT complete with trembling bottom lip. If it were for a longer period of time than a few hours, I think he’d deal with it even worse and be trying to figure out if he had some kind of intake of arsenic or something like that.
Commodore Septimus: She doesn’t like showing it when she’s unwell, no matter the duration of time. Well, even more than that, I don’t think she likes accepting the idea that someone like her could get sick. SHE’S GOT THINGS TO DO, AIN’T GOT NO TIME FOR SICKNESS, YO. She probably goes about doing her job on the ship and forcing herself to be in her usual jovial mood until she collapses. Then the crew is all like omigosh what just happened and Captain Helmut rolls his eyes and drags her off to her quarters and throws her in and locks the door and makes sure she doesn’t come out until she’s better.
Selidor: I don’t think he’d quite comprehend being sick on a level beyond “I feel bad.” I don’t think he’d complain or whine, but I don’t think he’d overwork himself either. He just… wouldn’t repress or overstate anything. Might just kind of lay down wherever he felt like whenever he felt like and continue on with work whenever he could. If he liked the ship’s medic (which, he’s had some pretty bad relationships with past medic characters so that might not be likely) and/or if he thought about it, he might go to them to tell him he didn’t feel well. Honestly, he’d probably react to it much healthier than Jesse or Septimus.
Drytzein: Would be pissed. He’d hate the illness, he’d hate it for effecting him, and he’d probably end up hating anyone who noticed or who tried to comfort him or tried to help. Because of his history as a medic (I swear he’s not just a prostitute all the time), he’d probably try to treat himself the best he could. I don’t think he’d like the idea of going to someone else for help at all.
CHOOSE SOME OF YOUR CHARACTERS (I dunno, let's say the ones you put on your CSS post and whoever else you want to add) and say that each of them can learn one 'spell'/'magical power' that can be ANYTHING but they can only learn the one (so it could be like MAKING IT SUNNY OUT or READING MINDS or MAKING PLANTS GROW SUPER FAST or MAKING THINGS COMBUST BY LOOKING AT THEM) what would they choose?
I’ll go with the characters on the CSS post!
Jesse: Oh my gosh he would love to be able to read people’s minds. That’s actually what the ability he chose on that questionnaire thing for the sorting hat on pottermore. But yeah, being able to know what people are thinking and feeling and knowing what they would want is a huge appeal to Jesse and he’d probably take that ability without a second thought as to what the consequences might be.
If for some reason he wasn’t able to be able to choose this, he’d choose the ability to die. Which might not seem like a spell or magical power, but it would be important to him.
Commodore Septimus: Coincidentally, she’d like Jesse’s ability to regenerate. She’s honestly not afraid of much- but there are some things that scare her like DYING or even being MAIMED TO A POINT WHERE SHE COULDN’T DO MUCH ON HER OWN, both of which aren’t unlikely outcomes in her line of work. The second especially scares her since she so values her independence. So yeah, immortality/healing would be a pretty awesome power in her book.
Selidor: He’s… actually working on getting this ability right now. In MOAG there’s something called “the Arts” (or “Willpower Skills” for the player speak) which basically uses the mind to enhance abilities or do things that might seem physically impossible. The Arts can be as simple as Sensing, which is just knowing what is using the Arts and what isn’t, or as complex as Life Stealing, which is what Ikikva does to other people to stay immortal. Usually the Arts are very weak in humans to the point where they can’t use them (if they even know about them), but Selidor’s special. He’s certainly not strong in them, especially compared to other MOAG characters, but he’s continually working on improving them.
The ability he wants the most and has just started to get is called Channel, and basically it enhances any physical attack. You punch normally, you might dent a wall. You use a Channel punch and you’ll probably go through the wall. Once upon a time Selidor was teamed up with a thing that gave him a heckload of abilities and one was a high-level Channel and he just kind of pummeled this guy until he was pulp.
Out of everything you can have in the MOAG universe- teleportation, reading minds, shields, illusioning- channeling is pretty simple. But that power, the power of being able to reduce a body to little more than mush, is practically addicting for Selidor.
And Drytzein Ara: I think he’s on the verge of being too apathetic to actually want a power, or perhaps he just thinks he’s already pretty amazing and doesn’t need to improve on what’s practically perfect. But if he were forced to choose, I think he might pick something like mind control. He does enjoy manipulation, but mind control would just make it so much quicker to get what he wants.
Thanks for the questions, Aeori!
Do you have any details on Septimus' chiiiildhood?
At least, none that I’m willing to reveal.
I know it’s kind of silly since she’s not even a character I use a huge amount. And I know I don’t remember that much and I’ve came up with and changed a lot more, but I don’t really like talking about anything that she herself wouldn’t remember, being an amnesiac, as mentioned in CSS questions past.
This may have been asked liek a thousand years ago but I don't have any memory of it SO do Garro or Septimus have any kinks/fetishes/etc? Any preferred genders?
I don’t think it has been!
Septimus has a thing for ropes. Rope binding, rope gags,
rope dildos, just ropes in general. In her honest opinion, anything can become like 50% more aesthetically pleasing if ropes are added, at the least. She also has like…. a danger fetish, I guess. Making out? Cool. Making out while you and your partner are hanging from the anchor of a moving boat as it’s being lowered down into the water? FRICKIN HOT. And as for gender preferences; if she has any preferences, she sure as heck hasn’t told me.
GARRO, with the exception of kind of idolization of Septimus (I’m not sure if he was ever actually attracted to her though), I swear started out preferring men. Recently he’s been more attracted to women (though I have to note that he’s never paid a huge deal of attention to anyone sexually). I’m not sure if this is just me working on his character more and me changing it, or if he’s experimenting sexually, or what. And I don’t think it’s a kink, more of a preference, but he likes his partner to be more dominant or more leading than he is. Besides that, no real kinks.
what is garro's, jesse's, envi's, junus', and septimus' opinions on topics that are considered highly debatable today? like for example, abortion, gay marriage, legalizing marijuana, things like that.
Garro don’t care about your politics. No seriously, as long as he gets to keep working he couldn’t give a flying flip about what everyone else is doing.
Jesse’s almost the same, but for different reasons. He doesn’t have much opinion on what should be done or shouldn’t be done or why (I mean, he tends to go about doing what he wants to anyhow) or opinions on the government and how it runs- but he is always interested on how the way things are run and what’s allowed and what isn’t effects people. He’s also always interested to hear what people think and why.
I think the one he has the most opinion on is gay marriage and that’s just because he thinks something along the lines of, “Man, it would be nice to marry a guy someday.”
But he’s been through a lot of government changes and feels like he’s going to go through a lot more and for the most part he’s just amazed at the progression that’s already taken place. He can’t wait to see what else will change in the future, but he doesn’t really want to fight for it.
Envi’ere is kind of in a place where you know, if you can’t get married where you are then you can move to somewhere in the galaxy where it’s allowed. If you can’t abort/smoke marijuana/etc. you can probably find a place where it’s legal. If she was forced somewhere where these things weren’t an option, she’d be pretty pissed. She’s go suckerpunch the mayor or president or whoever and tell them she’s allowed to marry whoever the #@$& she wants and everyone else is allowed to too. Ya idiots. There would be the same response for abortion too, she’d punch them and be like why the heck is that any of your business how people deal with that. Though I don’t think she’d be for the legalization of marijuana, but she wouldn’t really be against it either.
Junus would be straight up against the legalization of marijuana unless for medical purposes. He’d think that abortion, unless either the woman or the child were in danger or there was a dang good reason for it, would be wrong and that there should be some kind of law that looks at the individual cases instead of trying to lump a very large topic under one law. And I don’t think he’s aware that men can fall in love and would probably be a bit grossed out by that at first, but he doesn’t particularly care what other people do with their romance so he wouldn’t be against it.
And Commodore Septimus would be for everything. Not because she wants to partake in any of these activities, but because she’s kind of against government and therefore believes people should govern themselves and be allowed to do what they want to do. And if there’s a problem that should be between individuals, not between individuals and the government.
