Not going to lie, with all the fabulous foods he can make, from the elegant french dishes to exotic thai meals, Jesse’s favorite is the traditional English breakfast. He doesn’t usually eat it during breakfast, but he sure loves eggs, bacon, sausage, fried bread, mushrooms, and baked beans. He likes black teas with this, but he also keeps a secret store of orange juice in his fridge always. He likes breakfasts and dinners.

Junus doesn’t really have a, uh, refined taste in food. Basically he doesn’t like sweet things, and after that he mostly likes things that are filling and sustaining. He really likes bread and hearty soups and jerky. Dinner is his favorite meal.

Goodness, does that man like his jerky.

Envi’ere tends to just eat the space meal bars like most people in space. She likes vegetables and seafoods; basically anything that can be steamed in its own shell and eaten. So crustaceans and insects. She doesn’t really enjoy meat that doesn’t come in a shell and is on bones like ew weird. I don’t think she has a favorite meal.

Garro loves microwaveable meal and pizza and pretzels and hamburgers and cheeseburgers and chilidogs and grilled cheese sandwiches. He loves lunch because lunch is the best meal of the day and he takes after his fabulous creator who also knows that lunch is the best meal of the day and has all my favorite things to eat.

God, I love lunch.

Commodore Septimus likes breakfast and actually eats breakfast in the morning unlike some Jesse punk. She likes sweet, sugary, pretty-much-dessert-in-breakfast-disguise things, but she also really loves like any type of oatmeal. She likes plain oatmeal and she likes mixing things in with oatmeal and she likes cinnamon oatmeal. Oatmeal’s pretty awesome.

Envi’ere does not. Halloween hasn’t DIED OUT, but it isn’t as popular with adults since they’re out struggling to survive so they can feed their kids, it’s a human holiday, and Envi’ere doesn’t care piss about holidays in general.

She would dress up as Ria for Halloween.

Garro does, in fact, know about Halloween. In his own dimension, there was a similar holiday in which Commodore Septimus made the ship like a GHOST SHIP and dressed up as a DEVIL and Helmut ran around frustrated at all these PAGAN TRADITIONS. And he has lived in enough “normal” human communities since being trapped on Earth to know what it is. He hates it here. He doesn’t like strangers knocking on his door expecting things from him, he doesn’t get the whole costume thing, and he doesn’t get why he should give them candy and get nothing in return.

If forced, he would dress up as an ANIME.

King Ghoul doesn’t quite have the mental capacity to understand a holiday, though he does understand random unplanned celebrations. Actually, he probably doesn’t understand that either, just enjoys them. So, while banished to the Waking Realms he did experience a day with curious and confusing and exciting sounds and smells and sensation and there was a lot of sweet and sticky things and also wrappers and screaming and he thinks it was AWESOME.

Someone would have to dress him up because of him not comprehending that part, but he wouldn’t be unwilling. He would dress up as A NORMAL HUMAN.

Junus does not know what it is. If he did, he’d be pretty neutral. As long as he wasn’t actually expected to talk to them, he’d be fine with handing out candy to kids. And if they stopped throwing stones at his house for a night that would be nice.

Junus would not and could not be forced to wear a costume.

i've always been kinda curious about this but for your characters that obviously aren't human, like garro, envi, drytze, loch, lomond, and what not, what would they look like if they had been born as humans instead?

GARRO, I didn’t draw because he’d pretty much be the same. The only things are that his natural hair color wouldn’t be blue (it would be a dark brown, but he would have dyed it) and he probably wouldn’t wear the eye-patch. He would still end up a mechanic.

Envi’ere, I think I mentioned before, would have joined the air force immediately after highschool. Her eyesight is getting progressively worse though and as a human she’d probably end up getting laser eye surgery. She’s still incredibly short as a human.

As a human, Dryte would probably still be albino, or at least still exotic looking in features. Would most likely end up being an exotic prostitute as he is now, or a model. Would not be as freakishly tall as a human and would probably be around average height.

jesus christ let’s not talk about loch as a human

Lomond would be some very tall punk kid- maybe barely considered an adult. He’d be insecure, asocial, living on the streets, and pretty good at brawling and parkour (even with steel-toed boots on hurrhurr) and only find purpose in his life once loch picked him up.

How would they respond? If these characters wanted to ~confess love~ for someone, how would they do it?

So for this question I’m going to pretend as if characters who are in relationships are not in relationships.

GARRO GETTING A CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DIDN’T KNOW; It wouldn’t matter how he got the confession, he’d say he didn’t have time for that sort of thing and if they persisted he would assume they had an ulterior motive and would do the best he could to distance himself from that person.

GARRO GETTING A CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DID KNOW; He’d react first in the same way saying he didn’t have time for that, or tell them to stop joking around. If they persisted, he might be uncomfortable but start wondering about it and may try to figure out if they’re sincere and how he feels about it.

GARRO CONFESSING LOVE TO SOMEONE would probably be in person or over the phone and it’s be awkward and stumbling and basically sum up to “hey i like you can we like have dinner sometime and talk about robots and then maybe bang each other.”

COMMODORE SEPTIMUS RECEIVING A LOVE CONFESSION from someone either she did or didn’t know would basically end up as, “Cool, so what are you going to do about it?” and then see where it ended up from there.

COMMODORE SEPTIMUS GIVING A LOVE CONFESSION would be in person (no exceptions), would be simultaneously direct and extravagant, and if she asked for a date she most likely wouldn’t take no for an answer. Or, rather, wouldn’t wait for an answer. HEY, YOU’RE PRETTY SWELL, I’M PRETTY SWELL, SO WE’RE GOING TO THIS DINNER RIGHT NOW. And then she whisks the poor individual off into the sunset. Where it went from there would depend on them.

JESSE RECEIVING A LOVE CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DIDN’T KNOW would actually probably be much calmer than from someone he did know. He’d probably ask if they were serious and if they were he might initiate some kind of one night stand or try to find out more about them to start something longer.

JESSE RECEIVING A CONFESSION FROM SOMEONE HE DID KNOW would probably elicit blushing and stumbling over words and he’d be incredibly worried that this would mean more chances for Jesse to screw things up or that they don’t know what they’re talking about. If he were able to push those fears aside, he’d be fine with starting something from that confession.

JESSE CONFESSING LOVE- well he probably wouldn’t confess love. BUT HIM CONFESSING HE’D LIKE TO DATE OR SOMETHING would depend on the person. He writes very beautiful letters (well, that’s up to debate) and feels he can collect his thoughts better on paper than aloud, but likes the intimacy of doing it in person. He’s also flexible, he could write them poetry, probably rustily write up a song. He could orchestrate events for something more flamboyant as well. I think the only thing he’d be against is confessing over the phone or text or email. Gotta be old fashioned and mail letters at the least if he’s not going to do it face to face.

JUNUS RECEIVING LOVE CONFESSIONS FROM ANYONE, he’s kind of… oblivious in that regard. If they aren’t very direct (as in taking his face in their hands and saying something like; hey idiot i love you) it’s highly possible he just won’t get it or won’t understand. In fact there’s a chance that he still might not even if the person is direct. But yeah, for that they would have to be in person. Letters or anything not involving the person in front of his face wouldn’t get through his thick skull. If he did understand he might be like, sorry, don’t have time, gotta go save the world right now. They would have to be very persistent and a constant thing in his life for them to interest him at all.

If he was interested in someone, I don’t think he’d confess his love directly. He’d be quiet, as usual, and probably just start being around them as much as he could and buy them things and after agonizingly long years year months, maybe, he’d produce a ring for them and hopefully they’d get the point without him having to say anything.

Envi’ere doesn’t do the love thing. Getting confessions, she’d just walk away. Giving confessions isn’t a thing that would come up.

Commodore Septimus, I think, would just like someone who treats her well. Which means that there could be many “perfect” lovers for her. If asked about it, she’d probably make up something about long walks on the beach and laugh and be purposefully cheesy.

For Jesse, the closest he can get to what he can considers perfect is anyone he can make happy. Course this doesn’t mean that having such a lover always works out for him. And if asked about it he might get flustered and change the subject.

Hahaha, Garro has no clue what he’d prefer in lovers, no less what he’d think was perfect. If asked he’d probably tell the asker to get the eff out of his shop unless they had something worthwhile to discuss.

And for Drytzein, the perfect lover is one who pays well. He’d tell you that straight out if he felt like answering questions.

And Envi’ere doesn’t have the idea of a perfect lover besides one that satisfies her for a night in bed. If asked, the asker would be ignored.

Garro has like literally no skills besides his mechanic abilities and his brute force. Can’t write, can’t cook, can’t whistle, can’t even clean that well. I guess that he did pick up some pretty good navigation skills. So he can fix things and not get lost and pummel people. Good man.

Commodore Septimus can actually sew pretty well and helped in the creation of her giant button-eyed hyena. And she, UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE, can whistle.

Envi’ere is pretty good at strategy games, like chess or HAHA STARCRAFT (the idea of playing starcraft in space amuses me), even though she doesn’t play them often.

I think everyone knows this about Dryte, but I like to mention it all the same; not only is he a space hooker extraordinaire, but he is also a medic. He is very good at fixing people, and perhaps ironically, good at making them feel good about themselves. He is also working on becoming a sex therapist.

Girl knows about everything you can know about coffee. She’s also pretty awesome at one-handed texting, typing, and golf.

Hmmmmm, I think I talk about Jesse enough that his minor abilities are pretty well known. One of the things that doesn’t come up often is his ability to play the cello. And he swims geud. Another is that if this ever comes up he’s really good at punching things until they stop moving.

Junus, besides his amazing social skills, is able to whittle and play the instrument called the aeol. Oh, and even though he doesn’t make stories, he is pretty good at collecting them and occasionally (if somehow you get him very mellowed out) telling them.

I think that Garro, if he were to become concerned about romantic relationships, would like to give the impression that he was A PLAYER and would enjoy being in a relationship with many people- but honestly that would terrify him and he doesn’t know if he could handle being with one person no less several. Otherwise, he’d like just one relationship and would be generally loyal but wouldn’t want to plan it to last forever or anything.

Jesse likes different people and likes being in relationships with different people, but does not like being so at the same time. He likes being able to give his entire attention to one individual and feels he wouldn’t be able to give people the consideration they deserve in a polyamorous relationship. He’s also pretty against cheating and can be loyal to a fault.

Our dear Commodore Septimus basically goes with the flow and if she ends up in a polyamorous relationship, then she ends up in a polyamorous relationship. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t. And she’s loyal… as long as her partner’s desires coincide with her own.

Envi’ere doesn’t have anything against polyamorous relationships with the exception that there are TOO MANY PEOPLE INVOLVED AND THAT MEANS TOO MANY MOTIVES AND PURPOSES AND ULTERIOR INTENTS TO FIGURE OUT and yeah one person at a time is easier to deal with, with her paranoia. Also one night stands, not relationships. And loyalty? Heh. She’s about as loyal to her partners as people are to their dildos.

And Dryte informs me he doesn’t do relationships. He has clients and he has sessions, but he doesn’t do relationships and isn’t planning to any time in the future.

And then there’s Junus, who I’m not sure is even aware that polyamory exists. And despite being paganistic heathen, has a pretty strict Christian-like view of relationships. You only date a girl if you’re going to marry her, no sex before marriage, and you do not leave your partner unless death separates you. (And then his second wife left him and made him question everything he thought about relationships harhar.) Anyway, single relationships and regardless of whether or not he’s very good for his partners he is very loyal.

Jesse’s, you should know what it looks like. You and at least a hundred other people, considering it was on my first very important post that got more than fifty notes.

But anyway, Jesse has the perkiest of butts. It is a perfectly sculpted masterpiece of muscle and beauty, covered in a thin layer of puppy fat that makes it both squeezable and gropeable. It is tanned to a golden perfection and when it is graciously exposed to the world cherubic legions descend to sing glory to its smooth form. It should also be noted that although his butt is not one of his four horribly ticklish spots, he does get squirmy if it’s fondled. This is very important information to have, I know.

Envi’ere has some fine hips if you stare at her front on. Like they curve and widen out in all the right ways. However, from the side, you realize that… SHE HAS A KIND OF FLAT BUTT. Commodore Septimus has a bounce bounce for every ounce ounce. Her butt isn’t white or anything, but it’s pretty pale compared to the rest of her body and she ain’t missing much meat there. I bet it’s cushy to sit on a butt like that. You could probably use it as the world’s greatest pillow. Cushy and soft and gosh just want to squeeze it. It is the eighth wonder of the sea.

And then Dryte has a skinny, lean booty. Like, think of stereotypical druggie rockstar butt and that’s the kind of butt Dryte has. There’s just a thin layer of muscle and like nothing else on it. Seriously, the dude’s over six feet tall and weighs under two hundred pounds. Thin as balls. It, like the rest of him, is flawless and porcelain-esque.

They DO INDEED. Well, some of them do at least.

Garro doesn’t really. Whenever he tries to think about spiritual things they just kind of… I don’t know, it’s like a mix between boring him and giving him a headache. He doesn’t understand spending time thinking on something that isn’t physical, that isn’t something that he can fix or build or repair with his hands. I don’t think he adamantly believes there aren’t spirits or gods or an afterlife or what have you, he just doesn’t get why he should care whether or not there is.

Commodore Septimus has run into several things that convince her there is a spiritual world, there is an afterlife, and unlike Captain Helmut who believes in a single god, she believes that there exists the pantheon of sea gods that many on her world also believe in. She, however, doesn’t think they’ve ever done her any particular favors and doesn’t believe she should be trying to appease them or be trying to save her soul or anything like the sort. Her alliance is to living in every moment, to her ship, to her crew, and not much else.

Envi’ere is an atheist. She doesn’t like talking about that much, especially since her family believed in the secretive almost occultist cylonquin gods and often used bits of that religion to set in stone their way of life and thinking and this in particular made Envi’ere feel repressed and shunned.

Dryte, on the other hand, worships one of the secret occultish cylonquin gods. The god over death, in fact. This actually influences many of his ideas on pacifism and ssssex. By anyone else who knows of this god, Dryte’s considered pretty sacrilegious. One of the rules about worshiping these patron gods is DON’T EVEN MENTION THEM TO OTHERS, YO. Outsiders to the cults are not welcomed. Yet Dryte often takes his patron god’s name in vain. The chances of anyone recognizing what he’s saying is pretty slim, but still. There was even one occasion where he made himself a mask based on the death god’s and wore it, which is pretty offending and blasphemous. (That mask actually became the idea between Gallowglass’ mask.) Aaaand he also wields spears and halberds like the death god. Seems like he thinks he’s the next reincarnation of the death god or something.

I don’t think it has been!

Septimus has a thing for ropes. Rope binding, rope gags, rope dildos, just ropes in general. In her honest opinion, anything can become like 50% more aesthetically pleasing if ropes are added, at the least. She also has like…. a danger fetish, I guess. Making out? Cool. Making out while you and your partner are hanging from the anchor of a moving boat as it’s being lowered down into the water? FRICKIN HOT.  And as for gender preferences; if she has any preferences, she sure as heck hasn’t told me.

GARRO, with the exception of kind of idolization of Septimus (I’m not sure if he was ever actually attracted to her though), I swear started out preferring men. Recently he’s been more attracted to women (though I have to note that he’s never paid a huge deal of attention to anyone sexually). I’m not sure if this is just me working on his character more and me changing it, or if he’s experimenting sexually, or what. And I don’t think it’s a kink, more of a preference, but he likes his partner to be more dominant or more leading than he is. Besides that, no real kinks.
